The proposal introduces a parc and a building complex that function as a local landmark, benefit to the aesthetics of the surrounding environment while upgrading the microclimate of the area. The buildings are located at the two ends of the plot in order to ensure functional autonomy as well as easier phasing of the construction.

The parc is situated between the Kindergarden and the Adult Daycare Center and fucntions as a unifying element where the community will meet and different age groupd will mingle. The parc offers recreational activities ( playground, ping-pong table) and a circular pot where benched and treed offer shade.

The Kindergarden is designed as a playfoul complex that is addressed to the eyes of the children and aims to trigger their imagination and creativity. Inspired by the notion of “cupboardness: introduced by Dutch architect and expert on educational buildings, Herman Hetrzberger, we produce a multiplicity of environments that create mirco-corners and nooks that shelter and protect the learning procedure of the children. The colour of a vivid terracotta red characterizes the school and gives an aesthetic trademark.

The Adult Daycare Center is created as a vertical building that offers more privacy and views to the top floors. The basement is designed as a porous space in direct relation to the courtyard, with a sculptural approach to the fadade. We intend to create a contemporaty building in order to spark interest and cognitive stimuli for  the elderly.
