Mara PAPAVASILEIOU studied architecture at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and at ENSAP Belleville in Paris. In 2011, she was awarded a scholarship by the French Embassy in Greece to attend the Master’s Program "Strategies Territoriales et Urbaines" at Sciences Po in Paris, as she was keen to explore the sociopolitical implications of urban decisions over design. She has worked in Athens and Paris in renowned architectural and urban design firms.

Alexandros ZOMAS studied architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and at the School of Architecture of Paris-La Villette as an erasmus exchange student. He has collaborated with architectural offices in Athens and Thessaloniki and participated in national and international architectural competitions. In 2012 he graduated from the PostGraduate Course “Space, Culture, Design” at the National Technical University of Athens. He is interested in the material expression of architecture and landscape and its integration in a constantly evolving urban context.

At the heart of Micromega’s architectural practice lies the idea that buildings are more than functional structures; they are narratives in which identity, history, and place merge into a single cohesive experience. Micromega adopts a holistic approach that seeks to merge architecture, urbanism, branding, and design into a singular, powerful storytelling medium. Architecture, for Micromega, is both a response to and a dialogue with its surroundings—whether urban, natural, or cultural .
